How to Choose

Build a ceramic table around your meals, your space and the pieces you already own.

1. Start with the meal

Breakfast and bowls

Choose a rounded bowl for a compact place setting or a broad shallow shape for dishes you prefer to spread out.

Plates and courses

Use a dinner plate as the anchor, a side plate for bread or smaller portions, and a dessert plate to introduce a softer accent.

Sharing

An oval platter creates a central serving point. A dipping dish separates condiments from the main meal.

Small details

Ceramic spoons and rests help complete a setting. Compare their shape with your intended use before buying.

2. Pick a calm colour relationship

Begin with ivory or chalk white if you want an easy visual base. Add sage or olive for a quieter green contrast, or terracotta for warmth. You can repeat one colour across different shapes without buying every piece in a matching design.

3. Check the practical fit

Measure your cupboard and the table space you want to use. Ask for confirmed dimensions and capacity where those details determine your choice. Our styling images cannot establish real scale, weight or the contents of a package.

4. Confirm care instructions

Ceramic does not automatically mean oven-safe, microwave-safe or dishwasher-safe. Follow the specific instructions supplied with an item and ask us before ordering if appliance use matters to you. Avoid choosing from a visual finish alone.

5. Add only what you will use

A bowl, a plate and one small serving piece may be a useful starting point. Add ceramic spoons or rests when they solve a real need at your table. Props in catalog images do not form a bundle.
